Electrical Assembler II (Packaging Automation)

Location: Sarasota, Florida, USA; on-site position

What you will do

• Assemble components in control panels and cabinets for packaging machines.
• Read electrical blueprints, lay out installations, and install relays, controllers, breakers, contactors, transformers, meters, and fuse blocks.
• Route, cut, strip, bend, and form wiring, cable, conduit, pipe, and tubing according to specifications.
• Drill and tap mounting holes and complete final machine wiring independently.
• Solder connections, crimp wire connectors, and use electrical testing and gauging devices.
• Assist with testing and adjusting electrical assemblies and record labor hours in the ERP system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and a technical certificate from a trade school.
• 5+ years of related electrical assembly experience.
• Ability to research and read engineering drawings using a drawing database program.
• Basic two-digit, tens, and hundreds arithmetic applied to money, weight, volume, and distance calculations.
• Strong reading comprehension and dependable, team-oriented work habits.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; hirify.global uses E-Verify for new hires.
