Collections Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; primarily in the office

What you will do

• Register payments against the correct insurance policies using semi-automated or manual processes.
• Prepare refund payment orders and monitor the related shared mailbox.
• Resolve payment-related questions from producers, insured customers, and internal clients, including unrecognized and duplicate charges.
• Prepare local and global Collections reports, financial and accounting reports under US GAAP and FAS 5, and departmental KPI reporting.
• Consolidate and analyze overdue premium information and prepare executive presentations and summaries.
• Collaborate with Accounting and implement process improvements that reduce manual work and optimize report generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in the insurance industry or related responsibilities.
• General understanding of accounts receivable and billing processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, teamwork, time-management, and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

• Basic English language skills.
