AR & Collections Analyst

What you will do

• Receive, deposit, and accurately apply customer payments to accounts.
• Prepare accounts receivable reports covering outstanding balances, cash flow, and collection performance.
• Post accounts receivable activity to the general ledger in line with accounting standards.
• Communicate and negotiate with customers regarding adjustments, deductions, delinquent accounts, and payment arrangements.
• Manage defaulted accounts, recovery workouts, write-offs, and strategies to minimize losses.
• Collaborate with finance and sales teams and contribute to policies for managing delinquent accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with financial software and Oracle.
• Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Chartered Accountant designation.
