Business Systems Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON — Toronto-81 Bay, 15th Floor. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Formulate system scope and objectives and document business requirements for assigned projects.
• Facilitate solution design discussions with business partners and prepare solution design documentation.
• Validate developed requirements, test applications, and support training and implementation.
• Provide operational support after implementation, resolve problems, and recommend system or process improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert and guide technology and project professionals through end-to-end implementation.

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• At least 3 years of Business Systems Analyst experience, including writing user stories and creating or updating system use cases.
• Strong experience with SQL queries and data mapping.
• Experience with financial estimates.
• Ability to gather complex requirements, communicate detailed information, and collaborate with business and technology partners.
• Experience with application testing, business requirements, and IT process improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with CIBC's Enterprise Data Hub.
