Senior Analyst, Business Performance - Simplii Financial (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Build and maintain dynamic financial models, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and investment cases.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks.
• Support annual planning and multi-year strategy refreshes by consolidating cross-functional inputs.
• Translate complex financial analysis and strategic recommendations into executive-ready narratives and presentations.
• Partner with Finance, Product, Growth, Marketing, Data and Analytics, Operations, and CX to align on business performance.
• Share analytical frameworks and best practices while mentoring colleagues and strengthening an insight-led culture.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in financial modeling, management consulting, strategy, corporate development, or investment banking.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Ability to synthesize financial, operational, and competitive information into clear recommendations.
• Strong executive communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership and the Board.
• Ability to collaborate across Finance, Product, Operations, and other business functions.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Toronto location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or a similarly complex analytical environment.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
