Director, Pricing (Fintech)

Salary: $156,060–$265,300 per year

What you will do

• Lead commercial pricing, deal structuring, and contract negotiation support for new business and renewals.
• Set portfolio pricing strategies, guardrails, governance standards, and exception paths across software, services, and hosting offerings.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, Services, and Delivery to balance growth, margin, revenue quality, and cost-to-serve.
• Guide complex commercial negotiations and approve contract terms covering pricing, indexation, payment terms, ramps, renewals, termination, and service-level credits.
• Lead and develop the pricing team while managing deal capacity, prioritization, service levels, and decision quality.
• Improve pricing operations through standardization, automation, deal scorecards, benchmarking, and KPI reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in pricing, deal strategy, commercial finance, strategy or consulting, or revenue operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• People leadership experience or the ability to lead through influence in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytics and financial modeling skills, including unit economics, margin, cash, and revenue-quality trade-offs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise deal structures, contracting concepts, pricing governance, and process improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Nice to have

• Pricing experience in capital markets or fintech solutions, including post-trade, data, risk, treasury, or payments.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Experience building pricing operating models and scaling execution with Deal Desk or Commercial Operations.
• Experience with CRM data.
