Air Quality Project Manager (Environmental Compliance): Leading air quality compliance, permitting, and regulatory projects for industrial and energy-sector clients with an accent on Title V, NSR, PSD, and NESHAP MACT programs. Location: Seattle, Washington, with potential to work from other locations within Washington

Salary: USD $110,000–$130,000 per year, plus potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead air quality compliance, permitting, and high-impact projects for chemical, forest products, refinery, power, oil and gas, and industrial clients in Washington.
  • Provide technical support for air quality compliance assurance and permitting programs.
  • Analyze facility operations and prepare major and minor source permit applications under NSR, PSD, Title V, and state regulations.
  • Support NESHAP MACT compliance programs and related regulatory analyses.
  • Develop proposals, communicate with clients, and deliver high-quality project work.
  • Manage project budgets, invoicing, strategic pursuits, and collaboration across the Air Quality Consulting group.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in chemical, environmental, mechanical, or civil engineering, or a related environmental discipline.
  • 10+ years of environmental or air quality compliance and permitting experience.
  • Experience with Title V, EPA Toxic Release Inventory, New Source Review, air quality permitting, and MACT programs.
  • Recent experience working with EPA Toxic Release, Pollution, Air Resources, air permitting, or industrial sectors.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, collaboration, and strategic-thinking skills.

Nice to have

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or environmental certification.
