TL;DR

Salary: $83,800–$111,000 annually, plus bonus

What you will do

  • Develop mechanical designs for hydraulically operated equipment, valves, and nuclear plant components using SolidWorks CAD.
  • Create component-level manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings.
  • Prepare design specifications, test plans, procedures, and other engineering documentation.
  • Coordinate the design process across mechanical, electrical, and analysis engineering teams.
  • Create and execute test strategies, support hands-on testing and troubleshooting, and assist technicians during fabrication and test setup.
  • Review customer specifications and drawings and participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of Mechanical Design or Test Engineering experience.
  • High proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably SolidWorks, engineering drawings, GD&T, and related standards.
  • Familiarity with metalworking and manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and welding.
  • Experience or exposure to test development, testing, or laboratory work.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, adapt to evolving requirements, communicate effectively, and solve problems creatively.
