Legal Counsel II (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid workplace in Irving, Texas, with 3 days in the office

Salary: $135,200–$236,600 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and general contracting matters.
• Manage customer agreements with healthcare providers across the United States.
• Provide legal advice, respond to legal requests, and train business teams on contract terms and negotiation strategies.
• Build collaborative relationships with business unit stakeholders and legal team members.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and provide practical guidance.
• Improve legal processes and share contracting best practices.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Admission to the bar in at least one state.
• 3 or more years of relevant legal counsel experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Extensive knowledge of complex commercial transactions and general contracting.
• Strong oral and written communication, attention to detail, and independent judgment.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
