Corporate Counsel (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Review, draft, and negotiate health plan, provider, subcontractor, commercial service, vendor, technology, confidentiality, business associate, and employment-related agreements.
• Ensure contract terms comply with company policies, legal requirements, and operational needs while minimizing risk.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual terms, business implications, and practical legal solutions.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound contracts, route provisions to operations, finance, compliance, and other business owners, and track agreements through execution.
• Maintain contract files, templates, clause libraries, corporate legal records, entity documents, and compliance repositories.
• Support Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, health plan compliance, regulatory filings, annual reports, audits, and client reviews.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school required.
• 3+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, indemnification, HIPAA, privacy, data-sharing rules, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• High ethical standards and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
