Sourcing Associate Intern (Food-Tech)

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work with three days per week in the office required

What you will do

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for produce, proteins, dairy, and specialty ingredients.
• Collect and analyze data for cost modeling, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Participate in RFP and vendor onboarding processes.
• Monitor supplier compliance with food safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Research commodity pricing and competitive sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Supply Chain, and Operations teams and prepare reports and presentations for leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in the Parsippany, New Jersey office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or other analytics tools.
• Interest in food, sustainability, and supply chain innovation.
