Global Sourcing Specialist (Hardware)

Location: On-site in San Mateo, California, United States, five days per week

Salary: $45 per hour

What you will do

• Support end-to-end hardware sourcing for hirify.global product lines during new product introduction and mass production phases.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and cost structures including BOM, CAPEX, and OPEX.
• Find, qualify, onboard, audit, and manage suppliers.
• Build supplier relationships and manage commercial relationships and contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new products.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with graduation expected in 2027 or 2028.
• Availability for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, in-person internship in San Mateo, California.
• Availability for a Winter Co-Op starting around January 4, preferably for an extended term of 4–12 months.
• Experience with Excel or related modeling and simulation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to management.
• Strong academic performance and a startup mindset.
