On-site: New York Office

Salary: $95,000–$135,000 base, plus equity

What you will do

• Own data as a system across all product lines, ensuring a consistent view of funds, entities, and positions.
• Design and implement data quality checks, validation rules, and exception workflows.
• Perform data reconciliation across systems and sources to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to trace and resolve data discrepancies.
• Evaluate and improve data extraction quality from unstructured documents.
• Maintain documentation for definitions, assumptions, and edge cases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data operations, reference/master data, or financial operations.
• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on data reconciliation experience.
• Experience designing data quality checks or exception workflows.
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment with shifting priorities.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong judgment under SLAs.
• Comfortable working with modern software and AI-assisted tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, dbt, or dimensional data modeling.
• Knowledge of private markets, including capital account statements and K-1s.
• Background in entity matching, resolution, or security master management.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Metabase, Looker, or Tableau.
• Experience with prompt engineering or evaluating model extraction outputs.
