Verification and Validation Engineer (Aerospace): Developing and coordinating verification plans, requirements, test procedures, schedules, and closure evidence for the Axiom Space Station and spacesuit programs with an accent on full-lifecycle V&V execution and systems engineering integration. Focus on defining system, subsystem, and component verification approaches, coordinating suppliers and engineering teams, and supporting complex spacecraft test operations.
Location: Onsite in Houston at the SSDF facility, United States

What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, and implement spacesuit and space station systems verification and validation activities.
- Define system, subsystem, and component verification approaches, requirements, activities, and schedules.
- Develop and manage integrated V&V test plans, procedures, and schedules across engineering teams and suppliers.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, program personnel, customers, external partners, and suppliers on V&V planning and execution.
- Capture verification evidence, prepare closure notices, and coordinate requirement close-out.
- Prepare verification plans and presentations for technical audiences, management, and customers while supporting broader systems engineering tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or another related engineering discipline.
- At least 9 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in verification and validation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience across the full verification lifecycle, from concept and planning through coordination, execution, and close-out.
- Strong attention to detail, technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting Agile development, architecture, and Scrum implementation using Jira, JAMA, and Confluence.
- Eligibility for access to export-controlled technical data may require additional U.S. export control screening under NASA, ITAR, or EAR regulations; meeting these requirements is a condition of employment.
Nice to have
- Experience with NASA human spaceflight programs and testing spacecraft, spacesuits, or space vehicles.
- Experience working in startup organizations.
- INCOSE CSEP certification.
