hirify.global supports human spaceflight and space exploration missions through the LASSO II contract at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

What you will do

  • Support implementation and oversight of hirify.global’s AS9100D-compliant Quality Management System.
  • Conduct internal audits for the LASSO II contract and interface with employees, management, NASA Quality, and customer audit teams.
  • Inspect ground support equipment and flight hardware, including cable fabrication and process changes, while guiding in-house quality inspectors.
  • Perform site safety, health, and quality assessments across operational and research programs.
  • Support hazardous operations involving high-pressure gases, toxic materials, hypergolic propellants, confined spaces, work at height, and laboratory environments.
  • Review and approve Work Authorization Documents, perform hazard analyses, and resolve compliance issues with NASA, government agencies, and project teams.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of combined relevant experience in quality assurance and EHS regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication, presentation, customer-facing, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, wear PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in hazardous operations and laboratory environments.

Nice to have

  • AS9100D Lead Auditor certification.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification.
  • Industrial hygiene background or field experience.
