Company

hirify.global develops AI-enhanced security processors for digital systems and has more than 100 employees.

What you will do

  • Define end-to-end system architectures spanning ASIC/SoC silicon, board-level hardware platforms, and low-level software and firmware.
  • Author system architecture, micro-architecture, and platform requirement specifications, including hardware/software partition boundaries and register-level interfaces.
  • Drive architectures for secure AI-driven SoCs using on-chip interconnects, memory hierarchies, and interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, eSPI, I3C, and LTPI.
  • Interface with enterprise and hyperscaler customers, strategic partners, and standards committees to scope platform security requirements and present architecture roadmaps.
  • Architect server motherboard, BMC, and cloud data-center platform designs while guiding signal integrity, power delivery, thermal, and mechanical integration.
  • Define secure boot, Root-of-Trust, PFR, OpenBMC, Linux, device-driver, MCTP, PLDM, and Redfish interfaces.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of system architecture or hardware engineering experience across SoC design, board development, and software stacks.
  • Server, data-center, enterprise infrastructure, or semiconductor industry experience with a leadership track record.
  • Ability to independently produce and maintain detailed, production-grade technical specifications.
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with SoC design flows, board design, schematic capture, laboratory equipment, platform bring-up, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of embedded firmware, RTOS, Linux device drivers, low-level C/C++, modern CPU/GPU architectures, and server interfaces.

Nice to have

  • Participation in Open Compute Project communities and strong knowledge of OCP DC-SCM and DC-SCI standards.
  • Hardware security expertise, including cryptographic accelerators, HSMs, TPMs, and side-channel attack mitigations.
  • Experience with OpenBMC, MCTP, NVMe-MI, LTPI, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience taking complex board designs to high-volume production, resolving RMA issues, and executing component sourcing or redesign strategies.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative, diverse, and multifaceted working environment.
  • Focus on practical solutions to real-world security problems.
  • Emphasis on persistence, curiosity, continuous learning, and mutual support.
  • Work within a Silicon Valley-based technology company focused on securing internet-connected systems.
