Project Manager 3-USA-CRP (Electronic Security Systems)

Location: Richmond, Virginia, USA; frequent local travel to client sites and construction sites is required, with travel by car and occasional air travel.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of large-scale electronic security systems projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate implementation and integration of CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Develop project schedules and baselines, assess construction-related risks and deviations, and communicate impacts to stakeholders and clients.
• Coordinate field verification, design reviews, system programming, testing, commissioning, documentation, and final checkout.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, margins, and corrective actions to protect profitability.
• Manage client relationships, punch lists, project turnover, and training with clients and service teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades or Electronic Security Systems.
• Experience delivering waterfall schedules to fixed dates, with knowledge of PMP methodologies and appropriate use of Agile practices.
• Experience in client-facing roles and with enterprise-level clients.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and follow repeatable process-improvement practices.
• Valid driver’s license and availability for required travel, including regular local travel to client sites.

Nice to have

• Experience managing large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program.
• Electronic Security Systems experience.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
