Security Project Manager (Physical Security)

Location: Remote role requiring residence near Miami, FL; Austin, TX; Pecos, TX; Denton, TX; Muskogee, OK; Grand Forks, ND; Calvert City, KY; Marble, NC; Dalton, GA; or Auburn, AL. Frequent travel may be required. Work takes place in office, warehouse, data center, and industrial or construction environments.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, and manage security systems platforms for corporate, data center, and high-security construction projects.
• Review camera, access control, intrusion detection, and architectural drawings for compliance with security standards.
• Coordinate security design recommendations with site development teams, architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project managers.
• Update security Basis of Design documents and participate in RFI and submittal processes.
• Audit system installations, oversee temporary and permanent construction-site security measures, and support commissioning.
• Prepare security reports, project updates, infrastructure improvement recommendations, and budget plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• At least five years of experience in security systems design or installation, physical security, or construction security management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, security technology, and infrastructure protection principles.
• Experience with electronic security systems, including video surveillance, access control, alarms, and perimeter detection.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work in office, warehouse, data center, industrial, and construction environments and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other security design software.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
