Product Development Manager (Skincare)

Location: Onsite at the Needham, Massachusetts headquarters, United States

Annual salary: $90,000–$130,000 USD

What you will do

• Drive Shark Beauty product development from early-stage concept through mass production.
• Manage project progress, milestones, issues, deliverables, and assigned product responsibilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, industrial design, marketing, Insights & Intelligence, quality, testing, sourcing, supply chain, merchandising, and customer support teams.
• Translate consumer needs and market opportunities into product specifications and define performance testing protocols.
• Manage product costs and coordinate feasible, profitable product launches.
• Create go-to-market materials, product specifications, instructional content, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing or mentoring individuals, or demonstrated leadership on cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong consumer advocacy, communication, presentation, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer goods or the outdoor category.
