Personal Banker Bilingual Spanish (Retail Banking)

Location: Waukegan, Illinois, United States; in-office at the Waukegan Branch

Base salary: $45,375–$75,625 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Acquire and deepen branch customer relationships through proactive sales and service activities.
• Conduct outbound calls, appointment setting, teller interactions, service-to-sales conversations, and lobby engagement.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking and financial solutions.
• Educate customers on transaction-management options, technology, tools, and available resources.
• Resolve customer problems using banking product and procedure knowledge while supporting loyalty and retention.
• Follow policies, manage operational risk, and help complete daily branch activities accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Spanish is required.
• Typically, 3+ years of related experience or relevant product knowledge.
• An associate degree or equivalent is typically expected; a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of banking products, retail lending, selling, prospecting, customer needs, and problem solving.
• Strong customer service, communication, digital awareness, and prioritization skills.
• Additional background checks may be required under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
