Supply Chain Operations Co-Op (Robotics)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, R&D, Quality Engineering, and Production teams to design, document, develop, and qualify manufacturing processes.
• Support electro-mechanical components and subassemblies for the OTTAVA surgical robotics system.
• Perform gap analysis for manufacturing and testing processes.
• Collect, analyze, and report process data.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers on key projects.
• Lead small technical projects and process changes while supporting operational metrics and improvements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree.
• Currently in the junior or senior year with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Preferred fields of study include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Must have daily transportation to and from the Santa Clara work location.
• Strong organization, prioritization, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of design of experiments, statistical methods, CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Pro-E, or AutoCAD, GD&T, failure analysis, and gap analysis techniques.
• Participation in campus or community service activities.
