Senior Accountant (AI Automation)

Location: Hybrid role based at hirify.global’s headquarters in Seattle, United States

Annual base pay: $89,800–$134,600

What you will do

• Manage the full accounting lifecycle for prepayments related to multi-year contracts, including accruals, capitalization, amortization, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and compliance.
• Own intercompany cross-charge schedules, organize transactions for invoicing, and prepare reconciliations with international accounting teams.
• Create and maintain accrued expense subledgers and support the monthly accounting close process.
• Evaluate expenditure requests with Procurement, IT, PD, FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Accounts Payable teams and document accounting conclusions.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors and develop and execute internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve accounting workflows, including the application of AI tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public companies or high-growth organizations.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP, internal controls, accounting close processes, internal reporting, and fluctuation analysis.
• Experience executing SOX internal controls in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, ownership, judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from hirify.global’s Seattle headquarters.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with Oracle or other financial ERP systems, Coupa, BlackLine, AI tools, and financial automation tools.
• Experience in the technology industry.
