Team Lead, Management Consultation

Location: Remote

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage a 10–20% clinical caseload while overseeing team operations, queue activity, case assignment, and workload balancing.
• Coordinate daily and weekly queue schedules, review intakes for urgency and completeness, and ensure timely outreach against SLAs.
• Provide clinical and technical consultation for complex, escalated, and crisis cases, including risk assessment and next-step guidance.
• Develop and deliver training on management consultation referral workflows and support onboarding, competency sign-offs, and office hours.
• Maintain Smartsheet tracking, documentation, workflow spot checks, SOPs, reporting, and project timelines.
• Partner cross-functionally on escalations, quality follow-ups, process improvements, and product or technology implementations.

Requirements

• Independent clinical licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LICSW, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of Employee Assistance Program experience, including at least 1 year of management consultation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Substance Use Disorders, Levels of Care, and workplace substance-use practices.
• Familiarity with hirify.global Clinical Operations inbound systems, workflows, and processes.
• Exceptional verbal and written professional communication, collaboration, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous leadership experience is preferred; proficiency with Smartsheet and project tracking tools is highly preferred.
