Founding Backend Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is a seed-stage AI infrastructure company building production systems for LLM routing, observability, and governance at scale.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve a high-performance LLM gateway and supporting microservices.
• Develop core Go services, Python-based ML/AI utilities, and distributed data infrastructure.
• Make architectural decisions balancing scalability, delivery speed, and quality.
• Own Kubernetes-based deployments, caching strategies, and database selection.
• Collaborate with the founders on the technical roadmap and evolve the technology stack as the product develops.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong Go proficiency.
• Deep understanding of concurrency and practical experience with concurrent programming patterns.
• Experience designing and maintaining microservices architectures and API gateways.
• Familiarity with SQL and distributed databases, as well as caching solutions.
• Ability to design pragmatic and scalable architectures according to product context.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship is required.
