(USA) Regional Training Center Manager - Fleet Development, Transportation

Location: Onsite at 2100 E Tipton St, Seymour, Indiana, United States; travel to fleet locations, regional training centers, distribution centers, meetings, and development events may be required.

Salary: $104,000–$156,000 annually, plus potential performance-based bonuses and other compensation.

What you will do

• Lead site-level execution of Fleet Development programs covering onboarding, driver readiness, skills development, facilitator readiness, and ongoing training.
• Deliver training focused on safety, compliance, operational standards, and professional driver expectations.
• Coordinate class schedules, training materials, participant support, site preparation, records, reporting, and confidential associate files.
• Develop, coach, and mentor facilitators through observations, feedback, facilitation audits, teach-backs, certification, and development planning.
• Partner with Operations, Talent Development, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and field leadership to align training with business needs.
• Use training data, feedback, facilitator performance, and process-gap analysis to improve delivery and escalate compliance or resource risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, transportation, logistics, education, training, safety, supply chain, process improvement, or a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 6 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience leading, supervising, training, or mentoring associates.
• Experience in training execution, operations support, workforce development, associate development, transportation, logistics, distribution, fleet operations, compliance, or process improvement.
• Working knowledge of transportation safety, OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, state and federal requirements, and company compliance standards.
• Ability to lead training teams through clear expectations, coaching, feedback, accountability, and associate development.
• Strong communication, judgment, record-management, process-improvement, and confidential-information handling skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration, safety, supply chain, transportation, logistics, human resources, education, training, process improvement, or a related field.
• Experience with fleet operations, driver training, or regulated transportation environments.
• Knowledge of ELDT, Hours of Service, driver qualification files, drug and alcohol testing requirements, or CSA.
• Experience with project management, retail operations, training and facilitation, operational excellence, or continuous improvement.
