Location: Arizona, California, Montana, Oregon, or Washington. Training begins in-office for six months, after which workplace flexibility is available. Relocation assistance is provided for the training location, and career-start placement may require relocation to another location.
Starting annual base salary: $65,000, with a target bonus of 10% of salary.

is a member-owned financial cooperative providing financing, agricultural lending, crop insurance, and related services across the Western United States.
What you will do
- Complete a structured six-month training program combining coaching, classroom and virtual learning, customer visits, networking, and hands-on experience.
- Develop lending skills by evaluating borrower creditworthiness, reviewing applications, investigating credit, analyzing financial statements, and structuring credit recommendations.
- Support loan servicing, portfolio monitoring, covenant compliance, documentation review, closings, collateral verification, and credit decisions.
- For insurance assignments, collect and evaluate production and acreage information, reconcile farm records and maps, and support crop insurance policy administration.
- Educate customers on lending products, crop insurance programs, rates, fees, terms, and timelines while building trusted relationships.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, underwriting teams, insurance agents, specialists, and other staff to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Pursuing or holding a bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or a related field; current students must have senior or graduate student status.
- Two years of directly relevant experience may substitute for education and preferred coursework.
- Preferred coursework includes finance, accounting, economics, marketing, farm and ranch management, and crop or livestock sciences.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, computer, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Ability to attend required classes and meet regular attendance requirements.
- Insurance Trainees must be able to obtain required state insurance agent licenses by the end of the six-month program.

- Knowledge of agricultural practices and markets.
- Leadership or involvement in agriculture-related organizations.
- Relevant coursework and experience in lending, insurance, finance, accounting, economics, or agricultural operations.
