Insurance Specialist

Location: Hiawatha, Iowa; Mount Pleasant, Iowa; DeWitt, Iowa; or Oskaloosa, Iowa, United States

Salary: $53,520–$86,790 per year, plus a 7.5%–15% incentive opportunity.

What you will do

• Lead servicing, processing, and sales support for regional insurance products.
• Handle complex policies and operate multiple AIP systems.
• Manage post-commitment policy administration, claims processes, reporting forms, accounting, and policy issue resolution.
• Build customer relationships through in-person, telephone, written, and electronic communication.
• Support insurance officers with quotes, CRM updates, document preparation, and account administration.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and mentor other Insurance Specialists.

Requirements

• Two or more years of related experience in insurance and/or agriculture.
• Experience with insurance processing, data processing, or customer portfolio management.
• Bachelor’s degree in agricultural business, finance, business, or a closely related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work at one of the listed Iowa locations is required.
• Strong customer service, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
