What you will do

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for advanced engineering theories, concepts, processes, facilities, equipment, and products.
• Lead complex projects involving research, design, equipment specification and selection, installation, start-up, commissioning, and evaluation.
• Develop procedures, codes, standards, and technical documentation through complex engineering studies.
• Manage technical bid and proposal evaluation processes and approve equipment or solution recommendations.
• Advise management and customers on advanced technical studies and applications.
• Provide technical direction, oversight, and mentoring to engineers, interns, technicians, craft personnel, and other professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or recognized equivalent.
• 9+ years of relevant engineering experience with Professional Engineer registration, or 15+ years of relevant engineering experience without PE registration.
• Advanced technical expertise and demonstrated engineering competencies appropriate for the principal level.
• Ability to lead complex projects and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer registration.
• Previous utility industry experience.
• Physical and/or controls engineering experience.
