Personal Injury Claims Examiner (Auto Insurance)

Location: Marlton, New Jersey, United States; complete in-office training followed by 80% on-site and 20% off-site work

Salary: $27.47–$42.73 per hour; starting rate of $27.47 per hour ($55,350 annually)

What you will do

• Investigate medical necessity and determine casualty for personal injury auto insurance claims.
• Evaluate claim validity and monitor case files throughout treatment.
• Consult with customers, other carriers, attorneys, and medical providers.
• Secure medical information and review insurance contracts, reports, and billing documentation.
• Resolve customer concerns and support a positive claims experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills.
• Ability to adapt, manage details, prioritize, and multitask across platforms.
• Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing claims experience.
• Experience in a high-volume call center with KPIs and measurable goals.
• Active adjuster license.
• College degree.
