Credit and Collections Representative (Customer Support)

Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Deliver customer service primarily by phone and through multiple communication channels.
• Analyze customer energy needs, resolve complex inquiries, and provide tailored solutions.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who have past-due utility balances.
• Provide specialized technical support and troubleshoot customer technology-related issues.
• Process critical orders during electric emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation during storms and related emergencies.
• Follow collection protocols, resolve disputes, and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of customer service experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use multiple computer programs simultaneously.
• Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues with minimal workflow disruption.
• Availability for onsite work in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Nice to have

• Experience in collections.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency; a compensation premium is available after passing a Spanish-language proficiency test.
