Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment

What you will do

• Mentor BSN students in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, connecting classroom and simulation learning with patient care.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision, instruction, and evaluation of nursing students.
• Prepare clinical assignments, assess student work, and provide documented feedback and remediation when needed.
• Coordinate with clinical site personnel regarding policies, procedures, expectations, and student or agency concerns.
• Support curriculum implementation, program assessment, student retention efforts, and departmental initiatives.
• Serve as a professional role model and collaborate with administrators, staff, faculty, and clinical partners.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered RN license in Iowa required.
• Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for faculty currently licensed in Illinois.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
