Location: Bryan, Texas, United States; part-time, primarily in a clinical setting

What you will do

• Assist nursing faculty with supervising students during clinical learning experiences.
• Supervise student skills performance and support student evaluations.
• Consult with nursing faculty in clinical settings.
• Provide occasional classroom assistance when requested.
• Apply clinical expertise to support safe and effective teaching in the designated area.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• At least one year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a clinical hospital setting.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas required.
• Clinical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to multitask and work cooperatively.
• Knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to perform responsibilities safely in compliance with university health science center guidelines.

Nice to have

• Three years of Registered Nurse experience with recent or current acute-care experience in medical-surgical, critical care, pediatrics, or obstetrics.
• Master of Science in Nursing.
