What you will do

• Lead education initiatives supporting ICU nursing practice, competency development, and evidence-based care.
• Assess learning needs and identify education gaps for clinical staff.
• Design, implement, and evaluate onboarding, orientation, transition-to-practice, and professional development programs.
• Coordinate simulation-based learning and develop evidence-based clinical scenarios.
• Create and evaluate unit-based competencies with nursing leadership and clinical educators.
• Deliver continuing education, mentorship, and life-support training in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing required, or enrollment in a Master’s nursing program within one year of hire; MSN in Nursing Education preferred.
• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• At least three years of progressive clinical leadership, education, or professional development experience.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, nursing practice, evidence-based care, competency assessment, and educational methodologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, coaching, presentation, organizational, and technology skills.

Nice to have

• Critical Care or ICU nursing experience.
• Specialty certification.
• AHA BLS Instructor certification and ACLS and/or PALS Instructor certification.
• Experience with simulation learning and innovative educational technologies.
