Sr. Manager, External Reporting and Technical Accounting

Compensation range: $123,500–$229,500 per year, with potential annual incentives depending on the position.

What you will do

• Lead the timely and accurate preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, and other external financial statements.
• Lead quarterly financial reviews and the annual audit, serving as the primary contact for internal and external auditors.
• Research, evaluate, and document technical accounting conclusions for complex and non-standard transactions.
• Maintain global accounting policies, monitor new accounting and SEC reporting requirements, and lead implementation and training for updated standards.
• Support acquisition due diligence, integration, purchase price accounting, and related SEC reporting for M&A projects.
• Lead goodwill and intangible impairment analyses, pension plan valuations, and accounting for derivatives, hedging, stock-based compensation, and leases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in a Big Four public accounting firm, industry, or a combination of both.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting expertise, including revenue recognition, leases, derivatives and hedging, stock-based compensation, business combinations, and financial statement disclosures.
• Strong advisory, writing, presentation, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and develop team members while maintaining accountability, ownership, confidentiality, and effectiveness during change.
