Associate Visual Merchandiser (Retail)

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana; regular work in showrooms in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Covington, and Metairie. Four days per week in stores and one remote work-from-home day; travel up to 75%.

What you will do

• Execute visually appealing showroom displays that support in-store conversion and brand loyalty.
• Follow planograms to position furniture, lighting, accessories, and artwork according to visual standards.
• Refresh floor sets for new product introductions, seasonal changes, promotions, and inventory strategies.
• Receive, tag, transfer, and manage merchandise within retail showrooms.
• Assemble furniture, install accessories and artwork, and support new stores, closings, and remodels.
• Collaborate with store managers and visual merchandising teams, while analyzing trends and competing stores for inspiration.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related field.
• Understanding of visual merchandising principles, with strong design taste and knowledge of style, culture, art, fashion, innovation, and technology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple stores; travel may reach 75%.
• Familiarity with inventory management principles.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the physical ability to move furniture weighing up to or over 50 pounds and climb ladders.
