Supervisor, Visual Merchandiser

Location: Busch Gardens Williamsburg, United States; on-site work across assigned park retail locations is required.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, maintain, and approve visual merchandising presentations across assigned park retail locations.
• Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and develop Visual Merchandising Ambassadors, including the Senior Visual Merchandiser.
• Coordinate seasonal transitions, promotional campaigns, special events, new products, store openings, renovations, and major merchandise installations.
• Implement planograms, floor sets, window displays, signage, fixtures, props, product activations, and approved creative direction.
• Manage project timelines, installation schedules, labor needs, materials, work orders, vendors, expenses, and visual merchandising resources.
• Conduct store walks, evaluate visual standards, address damaged or outdated elements, and ensure safe, consistent, operationally ready displays.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and a high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in visual merchandising, retail presentation, store design, or a related field.
• Experience developing and executing merchandise displays, planograms, floor sets, signage, and promotional presentations.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, leadership, project management, organization, communication, and collaboration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Photoshop or other design software is preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license, ability to meet vehicle-operation requirements, and availability for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in visual merchandising, retail management, design, marketing, or a related field.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with merchandise management, scheduling, timekeeping, or work-order systems.
• Theme park, hospitality, entertainment, or high-volume retail experience.
