Facilities and Real Estate Project Manager

Location: Remote, based in Lagunilla de Heredia, Costa Rica; occasional in-person attendance at work-related events and site visits may be required based on project location and business needs.

What you will do

• Lead facilities and real estate projects, including office buildouts, space modifications, system replacements, and process implementations.
• Develop project plans, schedules, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate architects, designers, contractors, vendors, Global Technology, Corporate Security, business stakeholders, and other internal teams.
• Manage construction activities, site visits, system installations, furniture and technology infrastructure deployment, and operational readiness.
• Track expenses, control budgets, identify risks, resolve issues, and provide project updates to leadership.
• Manage punch lists, final inspections, turnover documentation, and project handoff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing office buildouts, commercial construction, space modifications, system replacements, or facility initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, commercial fit-out requirements, and internal standards.
• Experience delivering cross-functional projects with business stakeholders, technology and security teams, vendors, contractors, architects, and designers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Working knowledge of access control, CCTV, HVAC, audiovisual, network, and workplace technology systems.

Nice to have

• PMP or similar project management certification.
• Experience supporting hybrid workplace projects and operational readiness activities.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendor groups, technology partners, security teams, and business stakeholders.
