UI/UX Designer (Robotics)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; onsite five days per week

Salary: $170,000–$215,000 per year, plus potential equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Design interfaces for on-robot displays, customer-facing applications, culinary brands, and internal operational tools.
• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews and usability testing.
• Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, user flows, specifications, and AI-assisted working mockups.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and users to communicate trade-offs and align on design decisions.
• Explore and implement AI-powered solutions for customers and internal design workflows.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system across multiple products and platforms.

Requirements

• 4+ years of UI/UX design experience.
• Experience designing for multiple platforms beyond iOS and across different devices.
• Strong typography, layout, interaction design, visual design, and systems-thinking fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Figma is required.
• Experience building products from the ground up, working within an existing brand, and establishing design systems.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, assess competitive environments, and connect design decisions with business objectives.
