What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and deploy automation frameworks and tools using Python and Shell scripting.
• Evaluate test cases for regression coverage and automate newly implemented functionality.
• Perform unit testing, defect diagnosis, and end-to-end validation across SAP, Clarity PPM, and SaaS-based systems.
• Gather requirements, design test strategies, and execute automated test plans and unit test cases in Java and SAP ABAP.
• Debug ETL pipelines, SQL queries, and reporting processes to ensure accurate data flow and system integrity.
• Review delivery-control evidence, create dashboards and reports, and identify improvements in IT delivery processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least two years of experience as a software quality assurance analyst, project engineer, or in a related role.
• Professional experience with Python, Shell scripting, Java, SAP ABAP, JUnit, TestNG, GitHub, JIRA, and Google Cloud.
• Experience testing enterprise systems such as SAP and Clarity PPM, including end-to-end validation and defect diagnosis.
• Experience debugging ETL pipelines, SQL queries, and reporting processes.
• Ability to work in the Chicago hybrid environment, with up to 40% telecommuting permitted.
