Transportation Engineering Specialist (MicroStation)

What you will do

• Support multidisciplinary transportation engineering projects across the full development lifecycle, from early planning through final design.
• Assist with alignment and detail design, grading, drainage, traffic control, and other infrastructure and site design.
• Help develop construction plans, design specifications, cost estimates, studies, and reports for road, bicycle, and rail projects.
• Prepare erosion control, roadside drainage, work zone traffic control, pavement marking, and signing plans.
• Collaborate with client teams and engineers from other technical disciplines.
• Use Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads Designer for design work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–4 years of experience, including internships.
• Exposure to transportation design or a closely related engineering field.
• Curiosity, teamwork, and a strong desire to learn.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads Designer is beneficial; training is available.
