Senior CNC Machinist -- 1st Shift

Location: Summerville, South Carolina, United States; 1st shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. US citizenship is required due to DoD requirements.

Hourly pay: $28.70–$41.49

What you will do

• Set up and operate NC/CNC, conventional, multi-axis, HBM, VTL, lathe, grinding, and honing machines.
• Produce and repair finished and semi-finished components and assemblies using established manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret detailed part and tool drawings, maintaining requirements for dimensions, perpendicularity, parallelism, and concentricity.
• Perform turning, milling, boring, grooving, chamfering, profiling, tapering, tapping, blending, and finishing operations.
• Operate material-handling equipment including bridge cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and hand trucks.
• Support development, routine operations, and startup of Mill/Turn, HBM, VTL, Horizontal Lathe, and multi-axis equipment.

Requirements

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances and approvals.
• High school graduation.
• At least 4 years of CNC machine experience.
• Basic knowledge and skills in assembly work and machining.
• Ability to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency levels and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist height and transport it 10 feet.

Nice to have

• Completion of a four-year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience operating WFL and Waldrich Coburg machines.
