CNC Operator 3rd Shift (Quartz Manufacturing)

Location: Belle Plaine, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Salary: $19.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, calibrate, operate, monitor, and maintain CNC machines according to standard operating procedures.
• Read blueprints, load raw materials, edit machine programs, and supervise automated cutting processes.
• Inspect quartz stone and machined parts using measuring equipment to verify specifications and tolerances.
• Operate an overhead crane or vacuum lift to place slab partials on the CNC table.
• Complete equipment safety inspections, maintain an organized work area, and follow required safety rules and PPE procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate with leadership and other shop areas as needed while cross-training on multiple machines.

Requirements

• Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications with precision.
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use basic measuring equipment, computers, and critical-thinking skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary machining education is also preferred.
• 1–2+ years of machining experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push loaded carts, stand for up to 10 hours, and perform frequent bending and stepping onto machine tables.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
• Post-secondary education in machining.
