Company Vehicle Fleet Manager (Automotive)

Location: Remote; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. SoCal or Troy, MI preferred.

Annual base pay: $108,000–$136,000 USD.

What you will do

• Manage the company-owned fleet used for PR, marketing, influencer programs, events, photo and video shoots, and media drives.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, functionality, presentation readiness, condition records, mileage, service history, insurance, registration, and titling.
• Coordinate repairs, detailing, recalls, software updates, preventive maintenance, transportation, pickups, deliveries, and vehicle placement.
• Schedule media and influencer loans with fleet management providers and resolve availability conflicts against campaign and editorial calendars.
• Manage dealerships, service centers, detailing providers, transport vendors, and other fleet service partners.
• Own fleet budgeting, track spend, support forecasting, negotiate vendor agreements, and introduce scalable operational processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing a vehicle fleet, ideally in automotive PR, marketing, or a commercial environment.
• Experience working with fleet management service providers and media or influencer vehicle loan programs.
• Proficiency with Smartsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, fleet management software, and scheduling or logistics platforms.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, vendor management, and budgeting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; ability to operate independently in a remote role.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive PR, brand ambassador programs, or experiential marketing.
• Knowledge of or interest in automotive and electric vehicle industries.
• Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing a department budget.
