Salary: $80,200–$103,700 national range; $80,200–$118,300 national plus range

What you will do

• Design and develop instructor-led, computer-based, and blended learning materials using adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
• Create participant workbooks, facilitator guides, PowerPoint decks, classroom activities, job aids, e-learning scripts, evaluation tools, and business process documentation.
• Conduct instructional and business needs analyses to identify knowledge, skills, competency, and documentation gaps.
• Develop learning objectives, training solutions, criterion-based assessments, and performance measures.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal business partners, and project teams while managing timelines and deliverables.
• Evaluate the effectiveness, usability, knowledge transfer, and learner satisfaction of training materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in curriculum development, education, organizational development, instructional design, or technical writing, or four years of relevant work experience.
• At least two years of experience writing business processes, designing instructor-led and web-based curricula, creating scripts and facilitator guides, and conducting business needs analyses.
• Familiarity with Camtasia and Articulate Storyline.
• Ability to work as a telecommuter from one of the listed U.S. states.
• Ability to keyboard and communicate clearly and understandably in person and by telephone.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, technical writing, or a relevant content area.
• Experience with LMS architecture and deployment in a corporate learning environment.
