Senior AV/VTC Technician (Enterprise Video Conferencing)

Location: Washington, DC; full-time onsite at EEOC Headquarters. Approved travel, after-hours, weekend, and on-call support may be required.

What you will do

• Operate, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise AV/VTC systems in conference rooms, training facilities, executive spaces, and virtual or hybrid environments.
• Provide senior technical support for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, Poly RealPresence, webinars, breakout rooms, and unified communications platforms.
• Schedule and manage meetings, coordinate multi-location connections, monitor audio and video quality, and resolve connectivity and interoperability issues.
• Plan, rehearse, execute, record, stream, and support post-production for hearings, town halls, executive meetings, training sessions, webcasts, and conferences.
• Operate cameras, microphones, public-address systems, audio mixers, video switchers, recording and streaming systems, projection systems, LED displays, and digital signage.
• Perform maintenance, monitoring, incident resolution, documentation, asset tracking, equipment upgrades, lifecycle support, and end-user training across Headquarters and field offices.

Requirements

• At least ten years of professional AV/VTC support experience in an enterprise environment comparable in size and complexity to the EEOC.
• Advanced hands-on experience with enterprise video conferencing platforms, VTC endpoints, codecs, DSPs, control systems, cameras, microphones, displays, and related network-connected equipment.
• Experience diagnosing complex audio, video, hardware, software, network, and interoperability issues, including root-cause analysis through resolution.
• Experience supporting high-visibility live, virtual, and hybrid events and geographically dispersed stakeholders.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, including a favorable five-year employment background investigation and applicable OPM suitability standards.
• Professional command of English and the ability to work full-time onsite at EEOC Headquarters are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Premiere, Premiere Rush, Final Cut Pro, Wondershare Filmora, and Blackmagic video switching technologies.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, and service-management practices.
