Client Technologies Analyst II - Audio/Video

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; onsite staff position

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is a higher education institution with an Information Technology department supporting university operations, teaching, conferencing, and events.

What you will do

• Maintain, configure, monitor, test, and repair complex networked audio/video equipment, control systems, computing devices, and related software.
• Support educational, conferencing, and general event content delivery and troubleshoot issues during university events.
• Coordinate schedulers, technicians, and student workers for system installation, configuration, event setup, and ongoing usability.
• Monitor the ticket queue, resolve incidents, and follow issues through to completion by phone, email, remote, or face-to-face support.
• Track equipment repair work orders, maintain inventory, and document testing, performance issues, repairs, and operating procedures.
• Research and evaluate new AV technologies and software, assist with acquisitions, and support implementation and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
• At least three years of related experience with computing, audio/video communications, presentation technologies, and system troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of video conferencing systems, audio/video equipment and controls, related networks, and computer applications.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
