Principal Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, United States, with onsite expectations of 4 days per week

What you will do

• Partner with the CTO and CPO to architect and drive the technical vision for the reporting product.
• Design and deliver scalable systems that create measurable business value.
• Raise engineering standards and establish practices that support rapid growth.
• Mentor engineers and serve as a technical role model across the organization.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to accelerate innovation and deliver high-impact results.
• Foster inclusive engineering practices and open communication.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success as a Principal Engineer or in an equivalent technical leadership role.
• Exceptional technical expertise with a record of driving innovation and establishing best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of modern software architecture and engineering principles.
• Experience implementing architecture standards that enable engineering excellence.
• Experience designing and delivering complex technical systems with substantial business impact.
