Supervisor, Electric Field Operations- Response/Restore

Location: Hartford, CT; multiple locations available. Travel between MA, CT, and NH is required, along with outdoor field work at job sites and customer premises.

Salary: $126,770–$140,850 annually, commensurate with experience; potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the safe, timely, and efficient construction, operation, maintenance, and emergency restoration of electric distribution and transmission systems.
• Coordinate field operations across employees, departments, utilities, and construction activities.
• Set safety expectations, resolve safety concerns, and promote continuous learning of safe work practices.
• Prioritize assigned resources and manage employee performance, development, and feedback.
• Apply local union contracts and resolve grievances in collaboration with managers and employees.
• Support customer issue resolution, storm duty assignments, emergency restoration, and rotational on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Five to ten years of related experience; electric distribution and supervisory experience are preferred.
• Working knowledge of safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric T&D facilities and infrastructure at secondary and primary operating voltages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and people-management skills.
• Ability to maintain switching and tagging qualifications and use computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid motor vehicle license required; D.O.T. driver’s license preferred.
