Supervisor- Integrated Field Design (Electric Distribution): Supervising field planners and engineers responsible for designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining electric distribution facilities with an accent on work allocation, design quality, safety, budgets, and customer satisfaction. Focus on reviewing project designs, managing annual distribution budgets, developing employees, resolving customer complaints, and supporting storm restoration efforts.
Location: Office-based in Clifton Park, New York, with the role also listed in Mechanicville, NY; 5 days per week in the office.
Salary: $106,000–$132,000 annually, plus up to a 16% performance-based bonus.

What you will do
- Supervise field planners and field engineers, coordinate resources, balance workloads, and reassign work to meet design due dates.
- Review completed work orders and designs for accuracy, quality, economic feasibility, and compliance with construction standards.
- Provide technical support for the construction, operation, and maintenance of electric facilities.
- Manage annual Electric Distribution budgets and evaluate engineering alternatives for projects.
- Develop employees, arrange training, and approve field planning and engineering work.
- Support operations during storm restoration and resolve customer complaints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience preferred; alternatively, an associate degree with 7 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with completion of the relevant progression program and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong project management, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical, conceptual thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage and develop employees and strengthen professional performance and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of construction standards, rates, field operating procedures, safety instructions, union contracts, and accounting manuals.
- Applicants must meet applicable immigration requirements to work legally in the United States.
