Director, People Experience & Operations

Location: Remote, based in the United States; occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 estimated base salary, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead global People Operations, service delivery, workflows, records, escalations, case management, SLAs, metrics, and reporting.
• Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle and redesign onboarding and offboarding across HR, IT, Security, Facilities, and hiring managers.
• Build employee listening, survey analysis, closed-loop action planning, and People team communications.
• Ensure global compliance for employment documentation, recordkeeping, data privacy, statutory requirements, audits, and remediation.
• Own HR process design, business requirements, testing, change management, training, adoption, SOPs, and cross-functional workflows with HRIS, IT, Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Security.
• Oversee global facilities and workplace operations through a Facilities Manager, including vendors, budgets, safety, site strategy, and in-office experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with deep experience in People Operations, HR service delivery, or shared services.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience, including leadership of a distributed or global team.
• Experience owning the full employee lifecycle and redesigning onboarding, offboarding, or comparable end-to-end processes.
• Strong knowledge of multi-country employment documentation, recordkeeping, data privacy, immigration, and mobility operations.
• Experience defining HR systems requirements, testing solutions, and driving adoption with an HRIS or systems team; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong written communication, process discipline, cross-functional collaboration, judgment, and ability to operate with ambiguity.

• Experience in high-growth, private-equity-backed, or post-acquisition software environments.
• Experience operating employee listening platforms and closed-loop action planning at scale.
• Global facilities or workplace operations oversight.
• M&A integration experience in People Operations.
